Appointments
We are proud to offer flexible appointment times, including some evenings and Saturdays. Your appointment is time reserved with Dr. May and one of our hygienists or assistants just for you. We take this commitment seriously and will be prepared for your visit. We expect our patients to inform us 48 hours in advance if they are unable to keep their commitment. You may request an appointment in a simple process via our web site.

Insurance and Billing
We will gladly accept any dental insurance. We have patients with just about every dental plan available and have had great success receiving payments from those plans. We will maximize your insurance coverage and try to always keep you completely informed of what we believe they will cover.
If you are looking for a preferred provider with your insurance, we are contracted as such with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Select Health, Dental Select Platinum, and Cigna.
Facilities and Equipment
Digital Radiography, or digital x-rays, allows us to take a picture inside the tooth just like traditional x-rays. We can then view those x-rays on the computer screen next to each patient's chair. The x-ray can then be enlarged and/or colorized, helping us educate our patients by clarifying problem areas.
Digital x-rays are safer than the old method because they emit up to 90% less radiation. Six images of teeth can be taken for the same amount of radiation exposure it takes to process one piece of conventional film.

Intraoral Cameras help our patients get a clear idea of their dental health. Even with lights and mirrors, it's tough to see anything but the front of your own teeth, or segments of the shadowed back and side areas. Our intraoral camera is a pen-sized, camera-tipped wand, covered with a disposable plastic sheath for contamination prevention. It takes a video of the inside of your mouth and transmits the full-color image to our chair side computer screen.
It's not necessarily pleasant to come face to face with your own dental condition, but it's helpful in several ways. For example, the camera may reveal the early stages of potentially serious problems, helping you make an informed decision about your treatment options. On the upside, it's nice to see for yourself how your beautiful tooth-colored fillings or crown turned out.
State-of-the-Art Antiseptic Procedures: Our sterilization procedures meet the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. We sterilize all handpieces and instruments after each use. We use gloves, gowns, masks, eye protection and barrier covers for each procedure. We use only ADA-approved disinfectants.
